Two strong brands
Comat (comat.ch) and Releco (releco.com) are two well-established brands that have for decades enjoyed an outstanding reputation in their complementary segments of the market for Industrial, Time and Monitoring Relays. Since 2006, when Comat acquired Releco, the Releco side brought to the merged business the portfolio of high quality Industrial Relays. The focus is set on a high variety of features and functionalities to cover also specific customer requirements with customized solutions in low quantities. Electronic Temperature Instruments Ltd, is an award-winning digital thermometer manufacturer, producing digital and infrared thermometers for food service and industry together with dataloggers, moisture meters, humidity and pH meters. With demand for WiFi and Bluetooth temperature products, ETI has developed a range of products to meet this market.
In addition to manufacturing temperature measuring equipment, ETI has an in-house UKAS accredited calibration laboratory for both temperature and humidity together as well as an in-house service department.
The business has grown considerably over the last few years, giving ETI a significant increase in sales of temperature measurement devices and other related products. ETI has a comprehensive, global network of distributors enabling ETI products to be sold worldwide.
The company is jointly owned by Miriam and Peter Webb who founded ETI in 1983, when they identified an opportunity in the manufacturing market for the production of digital thermometers and temperature measuring probes.
Located in Worthing, ETI has three sites situated in Easting Close and Dominion Way. ETI currently employs around 175 people in total and manufactures 70% of the products it sells, the balance being sourced from overseas suppliers. Instruments manufactured in-house by ETI come with a full two year guarantee.

We are a family-owned enterprise based in Neckarsulm-Obereisesheim, Germany, which manufactures high quality and durable portable and stationary Emission Monitoring Systems for the HVAC / Installers market and industrial applications. Our wide range of products includes instruments for mobile and stationary gas analysis, biogas and syngas analysis, automotive exhaust gas analysis as well as precision digital manometers.
MRU was founded on 1st, June 1984 with just two employees and developed into a nationally as well as internationally respected enterprise. At its headquarters in Neckarsulm-Obereisesheim, MRU develops, produces and sells Emission Monitoring Systems for portable and stationary use all around the world. Today MRU Emission Monitoring Systems are being exported in more than 70 countries worldwide.
MRU is managed by the founder and Managing Director Erwin Hintz and the Assistant Managing Director and Sales Manager Martin Seegräber. The next generation of the family business daughter Helena Hintz and her partner Jörg Renner entered the family enterprise in 2014 and 2015.
Frying is a cooking technique very much appreciated by the general population for its fast execution and special flavor that it confers to food. However, it can propagate great amounts of fat and others substances (polar compounds) that can be considered as toxic due to the transformation occurred, when submitted to heat, of unsaturated fatty acids. This compounds formation depends on the frying conditions, as for example, the presence of water (it facilitates the reaction). These frying oil components can be harmful to health, more specifically to heart and arteries (the main cause of death in many developed countries), as well as it can originate the manifestation of malignant illnesses such as lung and stomach cancers.
It was with this intention, that several governments and organizations have issued legislation and/or recommendations, which forbid the sale of food, prepared in oils that possess an amount superior to 25% of polar compounds. This creates a need to control in a fast and reliable way the frying oils quality, because even when the oils show no signs of degradation or even when they are used only one time but in a badly maintained or calibrated frying pan, the polar compounds percentage can already have exceeded the legal/recommended limit.
The OleoTest® is a reliable, fast and cheap method to control the food oils quality. These tests allow in a few minutes and in q extremely simple way, the reliable evaluation of food oils according to the presence and quantity of polar compounds (extremely harmful to the Human health). The reliability of this test is continuously confirmed through independent laboratories analyses. This test is regularly used by official entities (as many of the European Food Safety Agencies) in inspection actions because they remain unchanged after use, which allows them to use it as legal evidence. The OleoTest® tests are an important complement in the systems of auto-control of the food branch companies (Obliged by law, according to Reg. CE 852/2004).

SCHMIDT® Flow Sensors, working on the basis of thermal measuring principle, offer the solution for many tasks. Simple installation and fast initial operation on site are their typical features. For the volume flow measurement no further measuring value such as pressure or temperature is required due to the measuring principle. Extreme measuring range limits with a sensor permit the measurement of so-called standby as well as operating volume flows. The flow sensors operate continuously for years – without any wearing parts!
For each application three different designs are available for selection.
The dumb-bell head is dirt and dust resistent, easy to clean and measures flows from 0.06 m/s on.
The chamber head offers a very wide measuring range up to 220 m/s as well as the output of the medium temperature, if required.
The thermopile head is used in clean gases for smallest flows and for detection of flow direction.
